Closure of residence hall kitchenettes leads to stressed out students

Caption 1: Marcus Holzinger, a sophomore at Central Michigan University, enjoys cooking in his free time.

Caption 2: Since the kitchenettes in the residence halls have closed, some students don’t have the usual opportunities to cook for themselves.

Caption 3: Because of the closure, students that use cooking as a stress reliever haven’t been able to do so.

Caption 4: The closure is not permanent, and students like Holzinger look forward to the eventual reopening of the kitchenettes.

For this photography exercise, I made photos of Central Michigan University sophomore Marcus Holzinger. Since Holzinger could not use the kitchenettes in his residence hall, I invited him to my apartment where he made pizza and we talked about one of his favorite hobbies – cooking.
